Marine Biology
RH Dana Elementary School offers a unique marine biology focus for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Students explore the wonders of the ocean and marine life while learning about the important role they play in protecting these habitats for future generations. Through partnerships with organizations in Dana Point Harbor, such as the Ocean Institute and Dana Wharf, as well as partners in Laguna Beach and surrounding communities, our scholars participate in valuable hands-on experiences that bring classroom learning to life. Students also take part in activities that promote environmental awareness, including beach cleanups, recycling programs, conservation projects, educational presentations, and schoolwide events focused on protecting our oceans and marine life.
