How to enroll a child in R H Dana Elementary
Since RH Dana is a dual-language immersion program in English and Spanish, we encourage our new students to enroll in TK or K.
The admission process begins with mandatory parent attendance at one of our informational meetings about the program. See “Program Meetings.” This meeting will explain the program and all the steps you need to take to enroll your child at RH Dana.
* How old does my child need to be to enter TK? Your child must be 4 years old by September 1.
* How old does my child need to be to enter K? Your child must be 5 years old by September 1.

Not my home school
If RH Dana is not your child's home school, please enroll your child at your home school- check their websites or call their office for information.
Once you received the acceptance letter, RH Dana's school clerk will request the records and enroll the child at the program.
RH Dana IS my home school
If RH Dana is your child's home school followw these steps:
- 1. Online enrollment
- 2. Obtain the enrollment package from the office.
- 3. Make an appointment to bring ALL the documentation

School of Choice (SOC) applications are not required for Dual Immersion Schools such as RH Dana Elementary. A Language Immersion Application is required following a TK/Kinder Meeting. More info in the meeting.
*If RH Dana Elementary is your home school, but you do not wish to have your child enrolled in this unique language education, your automatic home school is Kinoshita Elementary. You may contact them directly for enrollment.
